Review for Taming Graeme by Kate Britton

The Sexiest Book I Have Read…Ever!

This novel has a love story very different than most you have read or seen in this specific genre.  It is more than an erotic book as you witness a powerful love forming between a Dom and his submissive.

Follow Graeme and Olivia, as their love grows stronger and their hearts and souls are fused together as you get further into the book.

This book is the sexiest book I have ever read in my entire life.  I had my wife read it and she fell in love with it instantly.  To remain professional, lets just say I am very and extremely happy that she read it.  I do love how it was not just full of erotic scenes from front to back.  Taming Graeme is a smart and passionate novel as Kate Britton focuses on business and family as well.  I am looking forward to reading more from this fantastic author.

Book Review for Awakening by D.N. Frost

This wonderfully written fantasy novel will have you wanting more.  All of the characters and the Known World were so very well written.  Readers are always looking for a novel that is hard to put down.  Look no further, Awakening is that novel.

Follow a slave with a special talent named Larin, the powerful elf Kingard, and young shape-shifter Darek as they escape from their troubles and travel with other fantastic characters heading for A’lara to fight a great evil.

I now want to see the Known World visually come to life; a movie adaptation would be amazing.  Before reading the Awakening, I never read any other fantasy novels.  I have been converted to that genre.  The novel had everything you would want in a great novel.  I was on the edge of my seat as I turned each page.

Book Review for Niko (The Outsider Chronicles Book1) by Kayti Nika Raet

If you are looking for an incredible post-apocalyptic story that is unique in every way, Niko is the perfect choice. The novel makes the Hunger Games feel like an episode of Dora the Explorer.

Niko faces a horrific lost. After coming home from scavenging, she discovers her lifeless brother’s body and her other brother missing. Once rescued by the Red Circle, a group of Slither hunters, Niko does everything she can to locate her missing brother.

Acid rain and Slithers are just a couple of things from the novel that makes it an amazing story. Every chapter had me wanting more. Niko is a fantastic heroine who I feel is on the same level as Ellen Ripley and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I would love to see a movie adaption of Niko.

Book Review for A Matter of Temperance (The Adventures of Ichabod Temperance Book 1) by Ichabod Temperance

Searching for an incredible unique adventure story that will get you hooked and excited for more? A Matter of Temperance gives you everything you would want and need in an adventure novel.

Ichabod and Persephone journey around the world to search out the best solution so that will finally put an end to the undetectable vile entities that are claiming the lives of many innocent people.

I loved how the creatures are invisible, making it hard for people to see them without using Ichabod’s green beauties. I also admired the many inventions generated, especially the names of the devices, that aid the heroes against the numerous amount of creatures popping out from every corner. I feel there has not been a great adventure story since the 80s until now.

Book Review for The Experiment by Cristian Alejandro Solari

Yearning for a marvellous futuristic alien tale? The Experiment, takes the sci-fi alien genre to a whole other sophisticated level. A story, that will make you wish you could live to see advance civilizations. It is the true definition of a science fiction story.

The Universe Confederation struggles to come up with a verdict that will decide the fate of the preintelloids. Do they give them a chance to evolve into an intelligent species or do they destroy them to protect themselves from the preintelloids in the future.

Cristian Solari did an amazing job when he created the characters. I found myself attached to Geb with my emotions going wild as he forms a connection with the preintelloids. If you want to experience the same magnificent feeling I had when reading this novel, I highly recommend downloading it. You will not regret it.

How I got the idea for Nightmare Lane

One night I had watched the animated film, “Hotel Transylvania,” and a comedian on instant Netflix afterwards.  The comedian, who was from South Africa, mentioned how he had seen a commercial for starving children in Africa.  He explained how confused he was.  Wondering where in Africa is this happening.  That sparked an idea for a story regarding perception.  I started thinking what if all the monsters, creatures, and entities that give us nightmares, are individuals who try to live regular lives like us.  That is how Nightmare Lane came to be.

Book Review of Commune: A Social Experiment by Java Davis

Think of a time your life when you went out of your way to help someone, then he or she took advantage of you in the worst possible way.

Maureen “Momo” Doyle has come across a descent fortune while attending business school. She purchases an apple farm, transforming it into a commune. Maureen is not prepared for the challenges awaiting her as she follows her dream. String along with a small group of careworn individuals as they add a small chapter of the commune into their chaotic lives.

This book played with my emotions as I read how people took advantage of a sweet and compassionate woman. It had a sensation of realism, displaying what people would actually do under severe circumstances.

Book Review of Desert Assassin by Don Drewniak

Think of how you have always imagined how an alien life form would look like and be prepared for a unique take on a new alien. Don Drewniak has an incredible imagination when it came to creating an alien that had me on the edge of my seat.

Bill Williams, a veteran, discovered a meteorite with Assassin inside. Williams is then forced to return to active duty with an attempt to study Assassin further.
The book gives you a perspective of a military mindset when dealing with an alien. I was a little disappointed of how the book ended. From the first chapter it had me wanting more until the last two chapters.

Even though I did not like how this fantastic story ended, I still highly recommend reading how Assassin progresses through the story. There are great characters with strong friendships that will leave you smiling.

Let's Play Games!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a crazy kid trapped inside of a man’s body.  When I am not writing, spending time with wife and children, reading, and watching movies, you will find me playing video games.

I do not play as often as I did before, mainly due to respect for my wife.  I remember during the first year of dating my wife back in 2005, my brother-in-law convince me to try World of Warcraft.  I tried and had a little fun.  One day, my wife (girlfriend at the time) came home early from work.  She wanted to go out shopping and I told her we would go once I complete a quest I was on.  I thought it would be fifteen to twenty minutes.  It turned out to be an hour and a half.  My wife fell asleep and I felt horrible.  I canceled my account that night and promise to only play when she is asleep or busy with something else.

Today, I continue to do the same even though she tells me all the time she does not mind.  Now with two young children, it is a little bit difficult to find the time.  I play every Sunday in the early morning before everyone wakes up, between 5am to 8am.

I own an Xbox One, so if you ever want to play with me or just want to send me a message, my gamertag is SDL20041.  Due to it being early in the morning, I cannot talk to you but we could definitely play together.  I love co-op games.  I am not very good, but I do love to have fun.

If there is a good amount of fans that want to play and chat, I could dedicate a Sunday to play for a couple of hours.  You could message me on Xbox or visit my website (www.StevenDanielBooks.com) for links to social networking sites.

Great gaming!
